Objective

Over the last few decades, there has been remarkable progress in the different areas of electronics, electrical and computer engineering e.g., in the field of semiconductor device, photonics, microwave communication, optical communication, signal processing, embedded system, artificial intelligence, information security, green energy etc. The fruit of research are already enjoyed by people in daily life. To promote the research activity among the students in Engineering/Science discipline, to understand the nature and diversity of various trends of information & communication technology as well as their relevance and applications in industrial sectors; Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Department of Computer Application is going to organize a three-day International Conference entitled as “Computational Science and Engineering” 2016 which will provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals to present their research results and development activities in various branches of Electronics, Electrical and Computer Engineering. The conference is scheduled from 4th – 6th October where 4th October will be scheduled as conference tutorial. The conference will not only highlight the research trends in upcoming technology, but will also show the impact of research in human civilization. Computational research work is encouraged in this conference which will particularly encourage the students and young faculties in research through cost-effective way, where absence of quality instruments may affect little to the outcome.

About Computer Application Department

The Computer Application Department of the RCC Institute of Information Technology has started its journey from the year 2000. It is one of the oldest departments of RCCIIT. From the very beginning, the Computer Application department of RCCIIT is getting students of very good quality with high JECA (admission test for MCA course) rank. A large number of Alumni of Computer Application department are working in responsible position of different IT companies. Being a post graduate with an academic mindset, some of the students have a tendency to join academics and pursue higher studies like ME, M. Tech, MBA and PhD in IITs, ISIs, IISCs, IIMs and Universities in India and abroad. The department is having dedicated, experienced and qualified faculty members, who not only facilitate the students in their studies and extracurricular activities but also guide them to acquire industry oriented knowledge.

Institute will nurture, encourage and produce self-reliant, knowledgeable motivated professionals, capable of meaningful contribution towards the theory and practice of Information and allied Technology, so that it can sustain its place as acclaimed center of excellence, learning and research.

Inculcate a sense of ethics and respect among all its family members as well as heritage of our society. Develop an appropriate environment of trust attracting and motivating best students, teachers and support staffs. Establish state of the art infrastructure and maintain the same round the clock.
